Duration of storage

Account details and bookmarks

The account data and bookmarks are stored for the duration of the user account's existence.
The user can object to the storage of their data at any time by deleting their user account. To delete the user account, the user must log in to the Internet service and select the menu item "Settings" -> "Delete your user account".
At the moment the user account is deleted, all account data and bookmarks stored during registration will be deleted.

Access data

The access data can be stored for up to six months, regardless of whether a user account exists or existed.
This storage period is necessary in order to be able to detect improper use, covert attacks and attacks at a later point in time.
Deletion can also take place before the six-month period has expired.

Contact details

The contact details are stored for the duration of the processing of the user's request.

Emails

In order to be able to clearly assign the account data and bookmarks stored in their account to each user, the user must provide their email address when registering.

The internet service servers are operated by the cloud service provider Amazon Web Services (AWS). All data stored by the internet service is also stored there.
